Summit - Wood Phone Case

They say that reaching the very top of the mountain is what drives us, but the journey to get there is what's most important. The Summit wood phone case features layers of Wenge, Walnut, Sapele, Cherry and Maple that build upward to the peak of a mountain, showcasing a variety of wood types and visually reminding you that the layers of a journey may all be different, but no less important in the climb.

The Summit is an abstract mountain landscape assembled from four different wood species. From top to bottom: wenge forms the dark peaks and sky, maple creates the bright snowline, cherry adds a warm mid-tone layer, sapele provides a rich reddish-brown base, and wenge returns at the bottom to anchor the composition. Each wood brings its own natural colour and grain pattern, so no two Summit cases look exactly alike even though the layout is the same.

All five pieces are laser-cut and assembled by hand in our Mississauga workshop. The design stays rooted in the outdoor aesthetic that has been part of Keyway since the beginning, but does it through the natural colour variation of real wood rather than a printed image. Each veneer is finished with a semi-gloss coat, and the assembled design is pressed flush to the case back. Available for all current iPhone and Samsung Galaxy models, with MagSafe magnets and a soft microfibre interior lining on iPhone 13 and newer.

Our cases are created using hand finished wood veneer, laser cut inlays, and a Flexible TPU Rubber shell.
