Yes. Most wireless charging pad manufacturers are citing cases thinner than 3mm will be compatible with the Qi technology. The thickest of our cases, the leather collection, measure in at 2.35mm so interference is very unlikely.
The backs of our iPhone Cases will wear in a way very similar to any other wood product. We prefer to keep the natural beauty, colour, and texture of our woods intact, and that means staying away from thick, high-gloss coatings. Our finish offers some scratch and moisture resistance but it does not waterproof the wood 100%. If you drop your Keyway case in water, you WILL likely damage it! If you take care of your product, it will develop a long lasting, smooth, satin patina!
While the coating we use on the wood provides some great protection against daily wear and tear, scratches, and some resistance to water, it is very important to remember that this is still real wood. Large swings in temperature and/or humidity will cause the wood to expand and warp. This is nearly impossible to avoid without essentially turning the wood into plastic.
Here are some tips to extend the life of your Keyway case:
Don't leave the case in direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
If you get the case wet, wipe off as much water as you can right away. Leaving it sitting in water will warp the wood.
If you're going to be out on a hot day with your phone in your pocket, put the screen against your leg instead of the wood. Your body generates a lot of moisture that will be soaked up by the case!
That's about it! High heat and/or humidity are the main things you need to watch out for.
Since we are a Canadian company, all orders are processed in CAD and then getting it converted back to USD at the credit-card/bank level. Your receipt will show the CAD value, but your credit card statement will show the USD converted value.
What you are likely seeing is the difference between the two currencies from our automatic currency converter. If you click a product you will see a drop-down that allows you to select a currency. Our website automatically shows USD to buyers in the United States. Since we are a Canadian company you'll end up processing the transaction in CAD either way and then getting it converted back to USD at the credit-card/bank level. Your receipt will show the CAD value, but your credit card statement will show the USD converted value.

If you have received a shipping notification, then the package has already left our warehouse and the address details can't be changed. Use the Contact Form to reach out to us so that we can get things fixed up. Please note that there will now be delays on your order as we will need to replace the original shipment.

When a package moves from our warehouse in Toronto to your destination, it will change hands many times as it crosses borders, goes through sorting processes, and gets inspected. The times provided above are based off of Canada Post estimates combined with historical data that we have collected from our shipments. The time windows are large for some zones because different countries have very different postal services and border delays.
Depending on your location, yes possibly. Taxes, Duties, and customs charges may be applied to your package as it arrives in the country of destination. This amount is not controlled by us, but since we properly declare the package, it may acquire an extra charge along the way.
