Walnut Rift - Wood & Leather Phone Case

Simplicity at its finest. The Walnut Rift is crafted with a single piece of Walnut veneer and laid diagonally, married with a cut of our genuine vegetable-tanned black leather. For the minimalist, or those who just want the texture of leather and grain of wood without the unnecessary details, this wood phone case is for you.

The diagonal cut that gives the Rift its name creates a clean division between the warm brown grain of the walnut and the smooth black leather. Both pieces are laser-cut on a Trotec laser for a precise fit, then bonded flush to the case back. Over time the full-grain Italian leather develops a patina that deepens the contrast between the two materials, so the case looks a little different after a few months of daily carry than it does out of the box.

The Walnut Rift is one of our original designs and has been our top-selling case for years. The walnut veneer is finished with a semi-gloss coat to bring out the natural grain, while the leather panel is cut from full-grain, vegetable-tanned hide and left unprinted to show off the natural surface. Available for all current iPhone and Samsung Galaxy models, with MagSafe magnets and a soft microfibre interior lining on iPhone 13 and newer.

Our cases are created using hand finished wood veneer and vegetable-tanned leather, laser cut inlays, and a Flexible TPU Rubber shell.
