Tropic - Printed Wood Phone Case

Bright and playful prints are fun all year round, not just on summer t-shirts! The Tropic speaks to the traveler in all of us, bringing a splash of vacation fashion to this wood phone case featuring a vibrant pattern of Toucans, Macaws, pineapples and tropical leaves printed on a Wenge wood backer.

The print is bright and layered, in the loose, painterly style of a watercolor: glossy black toucans with orange beaks, parrots perched on branches, golden pineapples, and white orchids all woven through deep green palm leaves. It's printed onto a real wenge backer, and the dark brown wood shows through between the leaves like shadowed jungle floor, which makes the colors read even richer than they would on plain white. Because the backer is real wood, the grain runs a little differently behind every print, so no two are exactly alike.

Each Tropic is made on a real wenge backer in our Mississauga workshop, with the design printed in high-resolution UV ink directly onto the finished, laser-cut wood. Printing onto real wenge rather than a flat panel is what lets the dark grain sit behind the pattern and give it depth. Available for all current iPhone and Samsung Galaxy models, with integrated MagSafe magnets and a soft microfiber interior lining on iPhone 13 and newer.
