Silver Fox - Wood & Silver Phone Case

Foxes have always carried a certain reputation: clever, quick, a little hard to pin down. The Silver Fox wooden phone case renders one in sharp geometric style, a low-poly fox sitting upright in tall grass, caught mid-gaze. The name is a bit of a wink, too, given the fox here is literally done in silver.

The Silver Fox combines three materials. A cherry backer forms the warm, golden field behind the fox, engraved with tall grass and reeds rising along both sides. A band of dark wenge forms the ground the fox sits on at the bottom of the case. And the fox itself is cut from silver acrylic, styled as a faceted, low-poly figure with black engraved lines dividing it into sharp geometric planes, from its pointed ears down to the big bushy tail curled beside it. The bright silver stands out hard against the warm cherry and the near-black wenge. Because the cherry and wenge are real wood veneer, the grain varies slightly from case to case.

Each piece is made by hand in our Mississauga workshop. The cherry and wenge veneers are finished with a semi-gloss coat before being laser-cut, the grass is engraved into the cherry and the geometric facets into the silver acrylic fox, all before assembly, and then the pieces are fitted together like puzzle pieces and pressed flush to the case back. The result keeps the fox's sharp geometric lines crisp against the softer, natural grain of the wood. Available for all current iPhone and Samsung Galaxy models, with integrated MagSafe magnets and a soft microfiber interior lining on iPhone 13 and newer.
