Cross Country - Wood Phone Case

Say yes to adventure. That's the idea at the heart of the Cross Country wooden phone case, designed years ago together with three lifelong friends, Reid, Joseph, and TJ, who set out on a once-in-a-lifetime cross-country road trip. They bought a simple bus, turned it into a house on wheels, and hit the road to film a travel documentary, with the goal of exploring the countryside and capturing the people, cultures, and stories they met along the way. The case was built to carry that same spirit: the camper bus, the open road, and the storyteller in all of us.

The whole scene is built from real wood, with each part of the landscape cut from a different species, so the colors come from the wood itself rather than from paint or stain. Reddish padauk forms the sky, with an eagle engraved into it mid-flight. A range of cherry mountains rises across the middle, capped with pale maple peaks, while darker wenge mountains layer in along the foreground and cherry fills the ground below. Up in the corner sits the star of the scene: a little camper bus cut from light maple, with its windows and wheels engraved right into the wood. Because every piece is real wood, the grain runs differently through each one, so no two cases are exactly alike.

Each Cross Country is built by hand in our Mississauga workshop. Every veneer is finished with a semi-gloss protective coat before being laser-cut, the bus and eagle are engraved before anything is assembled, and the pieces are then fitted together like a puzzle and pressed flush to the case back. It's genuinely a little wooden landscape, put together one piece at a time. Available for all current iPhone and Samsung Galaxy models, with integrated MagSafe magnets and a soft microfiber interior lining on iPhone 13 and newer.
