Black Cork - Phone Case

There's nothing quite as sleek or as timeless as all-black. The Black Cork takes that idea and gives it some life: instead of flat black plastic, it's genuine cork dyed a deep, rich black, so you get the clean look of an all-black case with the texture and warmth of a real natural material.

The whole back of the case is wrapped in genuine Portuguese cork, dyed black but with all of its natural surface left intact. Up close it reads black-on-black: the dye is even, but the cork's natural striations, pores, and fine grain catch the light at slightly different angles, so the surface has a subtle, shifting texture rather than a flat finish. It's understated and a little stealthy, but unmistakably a natural material in the hand. Because cork is a natural product, that grain pattern falls differently on every case, so no two are exactly the same.

Cork is one of the more sustainable materials we work with, harvested from the bark of the cork oak without cutting the tree down, and it's naturally light and warm to the touch. Each Black Cork case is hand-finished in our Mississauga workshop and set into the flexible shell. Available for all current iPhone and Samsung Galaxy models, with integrated MagSafe magnets and a soft microfiber interior lining on iPhone 13 and newer.
