Beam - Printed Wood Phone Case

Vibrant stage lights, color refracting through a prism, even the color-coded teams you root for, there are plenty of things the Beam might bring to mind, but the read is up to you. Either way, it is a clean shot of retro color on warm wood.

A band of stripes in olive, teal, mustard, orange, and red runs up the case, narrows to a tight point, then fans back out like beams of light spreading across the surface. The palette has a distinctly seventies feel, warm and a little nostalgic rather than neon. It is printed onto a real maple backer, and because the beams leave plenty of open space around them, the pale, creamy maple grain shows through as the background and as the gaps between each stripe. Since the backer is real wood, the grain runs differently behind every print, so no two are exactly alike.

Each Beam is made on a real maple backer in our Mississauga workshop, with the design printed in high-resolution UV ink directly onto the finished, laser-cut wood. Printing onto real maple rather than a flat panel is what gives the color its warmth and keeps the grain part of the design. Available for all current iPhone and Samsung Galaxy models, with integrated MagSafe magnets and a soft microfiber interior lining on iPhone 13 and newer.

Our cases are created using high-resolution UV printing on laser cut, hand-finished wood veneer, and a Flexible TPU Rubber shell.
