Break-in Period:
As these cases are made with real full-grain leather, they can often go through a short break-in period over the first few days of use. The inside of the case will conform to the sharp edges of the phone and the microfibre button pads will mold to your phone's buttons, improving the 'clickiness'.

This is my second leather case from Keyway. The first was “slate.” It had about a week of patina before it just turned black.
So I bought the whiskey one. It had about 3 weeks of patina before it too just became an almost-black brown. .
I’m pretty sure these are likely just chemically treated so it gives you a patina early but then just keeps going until it becomes black. Does not at all behave nor age like natural leather.

As outlined in the product description and listing photos, the leather used on these cases is a Full-Grain Oil Tanned hide which is intended to develop a patina over time, show scratches, and change colour. The type of leather you might be looking for is a Chrome Tanned, corrected-grain leather with a scratch resistant coating, similar to an upholstry leather. The leather quality is very cheap not strongest like my first explore case by keyway

Well crafted and stylish. Support is phenomenal. Highly recommended.
looks great, very well made, very comfortable to use.
The good...Smells like leather. Nice raised rim protecting the phone. The plastic protector bezel around the camera lenses work but ding up easy. Snug fit.
The bad...The cutout holes are too small and not properly centered with the phone speakers. This causes the sounds to come out muffled during music play and phone calls.

And, since Apple stopped to make a leather case, I had a hard time finding leather case for iPhone.
Especially after they launched iPhone 16, it was impossible to find a letter case for iPhone 16 and single company only offers case for iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 plus.
Under those circumstances, I tried to find a leather case for iPhone 16 in foreign online markets.
I used YouTube and Google search to find the leather case that has a brown color. And one YouTube clip came into my radar. The channel’s name was “Stephen Robles”. After watching his YouTube clip, I searched for Ryan London, bellroy, andar, and Keyway.
My first choice was Ryan London, but their product was sold out. so I looked other brands thoroughly and figured out that the keyway is the best choice that I can get right now.
The process I just mentioned above is how I got to the Keyway.
Before talking about the first impression of the product, let me tell you “thank you”.
This is because when I first got this products on my hands, I felt like “this is the best product that I purchased throughout the year”.
I was satisfied about the level of quality in this product, and recommended to my friends and colleagues to use this case for their phones.
Throughout the process for looking for the leather case , I recognized that many stores offer payment in in Korean currency. Also, they offers direct shipping to South Korea. I think it’ll help Koreans to purchase the product with more ease, if they manage to find a way into this website.
To be short, I expect you to increase Korean consumers if you offer payment in Korean currency and direct shipping to South Korea and lastly some kind of advertisement in South Korean website “naver.com” OR Google search OR YouTube.
To add, I used the shipping company that offers a forwarding service to South Korea and it cost me 10 bucks. Yet I felt satisfied. If you’re going to offer payment in Korean currency and direct shipping, just increase the price litthle bit in process of currency transition, and provide free shipping, then you don’t have to charge extra shipping fees for Korean consumers.
To talk about the product, I really liked about this tin case. And, the volume button and ON/OFF button on the side,works really well even better than the Apple genuine silicon case. Also this X logo at the back of the case was kind of cool.

Got this on sale. My biggest gripe is it doesn't seem to fit the phone well. I'm constantly having to push the phone back into the case. However, it seems well made, and seems to be of good quality.
